Dani has completed further Osteopathic training through the Osteopathic Pelvic Health Institute in Pelvic floor level 1 Internal which has provided extensive training in understanding the pelvic floor anatomy as well as addressing various pelvic presentations including:
- Incontinence
- Prolapse concerns
- Constipation
- Assessing pelvic floor strength
- Overactive vs weak pelvic floor and the various treatment options
- Trauma and its relationship on pelvic floor function
Furthermore, she has almost completed an extensive 8-month mentorship through Fiona Hallinan, an expert in Women’s health, birth and bodywork. The internal pelvic release work mentorship has provided Dani with immense value and further understanding of how to better perform woman to woman care.
What happens during an internal pelvic release session?
A holistic discussion, assessment and treatment is performed. Gloves, lubricant/oil and appropriate draping of the woman is performed to ensure comfort and her feelings of safety during a session.
Who would benefit from an internal pelvic release session?
- Women preparing for birth or healing form birth
- Women with painful scars
- Women experiencing feelings of dragging or heaviness and questioning a pelvic organ prolapse
- Women experience painful sex or no sex due to vaginismus/vulvodynia
- Women who feel their pelvic floor is weak or tight

Can I have internal pelvic release work if im bleeding?
It is preferable to have a session when you are not bleeding. Many women feel too vulnerable, sore or tender during this time and that’s ok. Some choose to go ahead as bleeding can be light or towards the end of a bleed.
You can talk to use about what you feel is right/ best for you and appointments can be rescheduled if required if you would prefer.
